Sorry for hiatus

Good day!

Today I won't post anything that I have made. Though I have almost finished sewing a summer dress, a teddy bear, started crocheting a shawl and a necklace. None of these is finished and that is why I don't have pictures yet. When I finish something I'll post it with tutorial.

 Instead this post will be full of inspiring pictures (with sources ofc) I have found. Some have tutorials, some don't. I hope I will have time try making something similar.  ( ' w ')

 Nice sheer dress I found from online store. :) Thought about buying it but I found I have similar fabric in my wardrobe. I think I'll take inspiration from this one.

Old faces

Since it is incredibly busy time in my life right now and I can't find time or energy to do anything cool, I will post some old stuff I have made.

 As you probably guess, I am a huge fan of galaxy print. It's been a couple of years when the trend started to spread and yet I still enjoy it as much as back then. It's difficult to find nice looking galaxy print fabric, if you find it at all, so most of the time painting the fabric etc is the only way to get it. It takes time and some practice but there are many good tutorials.
This for example is very easy to follow. Remember to use fabric paints and iron the whole picture afterwards so it will last!

 Back to the main thing. Finding the perfect pair of shorts is difficult, even more so if you want something special that is not widely known (yet). I bought a pair from Lindex and while they were comfortable they looked a bit too plain. So I put some color on them!

Next, I'm going to introduce my beautiful Doctor Who inspired shoes! They were your ordinary white canvas shoes before I painted them.

 I fell in love with the galaxy print shorts that I wanted to make another pair. However, having your wardrobe full of galaxy and nebula prints is not healthy for our wallet. If you someday decide that the galaxy print is the stupidest thing that ever happened, well, you have a problem getting new clothes. After scrolling past different print jeans tutorials I decided to try it myself. For curious souls here is a great tutorial how to decorate your old jeans! I had troubles finding the perfect pair because money doesn't grow in trees. So instead of buying ready shorts I cut my old jeans in pieces and decorated them.

The galaxy tote

A few months ago I realized that I needed a bag. A cute bag big enough for a binder and a lot of other stuff (a water bottle, a pencil case etc). So, since I didn't find a bag cute enough from local stores, I decided to sew it.

Here's the outcome:

The galaxy print in the middle is hand painted by me. There are two different laces around it. The tote bag has even a small pocket on the inside! Decorated with lace of course.
